AppRoute Privacy Policy

AppRoute is an iPhone and iPad utility provided by TCool LTD. It lets you route links from Safari to compatible apps using rules that you configure. This Privacy Policy explains what information AppRoute handles.

Information AppRoute processes

AppRoute processes the web address of a link when Safari asks the extension to evaluate it. The address is used on your device to compare the link with your routing rules and, when appropriate, create a compatible app link.

Your routing rules, favorite apps, routing state, and related settings are stored locally on your device in the AppRoute app and its Safari extension. AppRoute does not send these items to TCool LTD or operate a server-side database for them.

Safari website access

Safari may ask you to allow AppRoute to access websites. This permission is required for the extension to recognize links and provide routing actions. AppRoute uses the page URL only for the local routing function described above. It does not use the extension to collect page content, form input, passwords, browsing history, or page activity for advertising or profiling.

You can disable AppRoute in Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions at any time.

Accounts, advertising, and analytics

AppRoute does not require an account, does not display advertising, and does not include analytics or tracking SDKs. AppRoute does not sell or share personal information with data brokers.

Purchases

AppRoute may offer a one-time lifetime unlock through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the transaction, payment method, taxes, refunds, and purchase history under Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy. TCool LTD does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

AppRoute uses the purchase result on your device to unlock the purchased features. AppRoute does not require you to create an account to restore an eligible purchase.

Information you send to us

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond to your request, provide support, and maintain reasonable support records. We do not use support messages for advertising.

Retention and deletion

AppRoute’s routing data is stored locally on your device. Removing the AppRoute app or clearing its app data removes locally stored app data according to the behavior of iOS and iPadOS. Apple may retain transaction and billing records as required to provide its services and meet legal obligations.

If you contact us by email, you may ask us to delete personal information contained in your support correspondence. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance.

Children’s privacy

AppRoute is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when AppRoute, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
