DropCarry Privacy Policy

How DropCarry handles notes, links, photos, files, and iCloud sync.

DropCarry is a temporary inbox for moving notes, links, photos, and files between your Apple devices. This Privacy Policy explains what DropCarry handles and where that information is stored.

Summary

DropCarry does not use advertising, third-party behavioral analytics, or a separate app account. DropCarry does not sell personal information.

Content that you save in DropCarry is stored locally on your device. When iCloud Sync is available, DropCarry uses Apple’s private CloudKit container to synchronize that content across your Apple devices signed in to the same iCloud account. TCool LTD does not operate or control Apple’s iCloud service.

Information DropCarry handles

Depending on the features you use, DropCarry may handle:

  • notes and text that you save;
  • web links and their titles;
  • photos and files that you choose to save;
  • item titles, source labels, expiration dates, pin status, and sync status; and
  • technical information required by Apple frameworks to provide iCloud sync, file storage, sharing, and in-app purchases.

This information is used to provide the app’s inbox, Pinned, Recent, expiration, sharing, and cross-device sync features. TCool LTD does not receive the content that you save through a separate company-operated server.

iCloud and sharing

DropCarry uses Apple’s CloudKit private database for your iCloud account. Apple processes and stores this information under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. You can review Apple’s iCloud and privacy information.

When you use the iOS share sheet, copy content, open a link, or export a file, the selected content may be sent to the person, app, device, or service you choose. Those recipients and services handle the shared copy under their own privacy policies.

Permissions and local storage

DropCarry requests access only when needed for a feature:

  • Photos access is used when you choose a photo to save.
  • Files access is used when you choose a file to save.
  • The Share Extension receives content only when you choose DropCarry from another app’s share sheet.

Saved content and temporary files remain on your device until you delete them, they expire according to your settings, or you remove the app. Copies exported to other apps, Photos, Files, or other devices must be deleted from those destinations separately.

Purchases

DropCarry may offer optional Pro features. Apple processes payments and subscription transactions through StoreKit. TCool LTD does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete individual items in DropCarry. Items with an expiration time are removed automatically when the app performs its expiration cleanup. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data according to iOS behavior. Data already synchronized by Apple’s iCloud service or copied to another destination is governed by your Apple account, device, backup, and destination settings.

Children’s privacy

DropCarry is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a company-operated service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when DropCarry, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
