Terms of Use
OtoSee Terms of Use
Effective date: September 6, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of OtoSee, an iOS application provided by TCool LTD. By downloading or using OtoSee, you agree to these Terms. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s terms for the licensed application or an Apple transaction, Apple’s applicable terms control for that subject.
What OtoSee does
OtoSee connects to supported Wi-Fi otoscope and inspection cameras, displays their live image, captures photos and videos, and helps you organize optional inspection records. Inspection records may include labels, annotations, written notes, voice notes, narrated MP4 files, before-and-after comparisons, and PDF reports.
OtoSee does not require an account and its core inspection content is stored locally by default.
Observation only — not medical care
OtoSee is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Images, labels, annotations, voice notes, comparisons, and reports document observations only. They are not a diagnosis, clinical record, or substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Stop using the otoscope and contact a qualified professional if you notice pain, bleeding, a sudden change in hearing, or another health concern. For an emergency, contact your local emergency services. Do not rely on OtoSee for emergency, safety-critical, or time-critical decisions.
Safe and lawful use
You are responsible for using your camera hardware safely, following its manufacturer instructions, obtaining any necessary consent before recording another person, and complying with applicable law.
You must not use OtoSee to violate another person’s privacy, access a device or network without authorization, create unlawful content, misrepresent an inspection as a professional diagnosis, or cause harm.
Device compatibility and connectivity
OtoSee supports only camera protocols and devices that TCool LTD identifies as compatible. Compatibility can depend on camera hardware, firmware, Wi-Fi configuration, iOS version, permissions, and network behavior. A device may use the same brand name while using a different or incompatible protocol.
Camera Wi-Fi commonly has no internet connection. Live viewing and local editing may continue offline, but purchases, restoration, and current StoreKit product information require access to Apple services. TCool LTD does not guarantee compatibility with every otoscope, endoscope, router, iPhone, iOS release, or future firmware version.
Free features and free inspection
Connection, live viewing, photos, and basic silent video remain available without an Inspection Pro subscription, subject to compatibility and device storage.
A user without Inspection Pro may retain and fully use one inspection session, including its available labels, annotations, voice notes, narrated video, same-session comparison, and PDF export. If no other inspection is retained, deleting that inspection allows another free inspection to be created. A former subscriber who retains additional read-only history can instead select one retained inspection as the free editable inspection. Product behavior shown in the current app controls if these features change in a future version.
Inspection Pro subscription
Inspection Pro may provide unlimited inspection sessions, inspection history management, cross-session comparison, and the inspection editing and export features described on the App Store and purchase screen.
Inspection Pro is offered through Apple as an auto-renewable monthly or annual subscription:
- The exact product, duration, localized price, taxes, and any eligible introductory offer are shown by StoreKit before purchase.
- A free trial applies only when it is displayed by OtoSee from current App Store information and Apple determines that the account is eligible.
- Payment is charged by Apple to the Apple Account used to confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically until canceled through Apple account subscription settings.
- Apple controls billing, renewal timing, cancellation, refund eligibility, storefront availability, and family or device access under its applicable terms.
Deleting OtoSee does not cancel a subscription. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple’s subscription settings. OtoSee includes Restore Purchase for an eligible verified purchase.
When a subscription ends, OtoSee does not intentionally delete, watermark, or reduce the quality of previously saved inspection files. Existing history remains available for read-only viewing and sharing, and the app permits one retained inspection to remain editable under the current product design. Re-subscribing restores eligible Pro editing access.
Your content and sharing
You retain your rights in photos, videos, recordings, notes, annotations, and reports you create. You grant OtoSee permission to process that content on your device solely to provide the features you request.
You are responsible for the content you create, the people whose information it includes, the recipients you choose, and the accuracy and appropriateness of any description. A recipient may copy or retain shared content. TCool LTD cannot recall files after you share or export them.
Storage, backups, and loss
You are responsible for maintaining sufficient device storage and any backups you need. Exported copies in Photos, Files, another app, or another device are managed separately. Operations may fail because of storage limits, damaged files, interrupted system processes, permission changes, or unavailable Apple services.
OtoSee includes recovery measures intended to protect original media and completed exports, but no storage system can guarantee against every hardware failure, operating-system failure, deletion, corruption, or loss. Review important files and keep appropriate copies before relying on them.
Availability and updates
We may update OtoSee to improve security, compatibility, subscriptions, or functionality. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features or device support. Some updates may be required for continued use with newer versions of iOS, StoreKit, or camera firmware.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, uninterrupted App Store service, or perpetual compatibility with a particular third-party device.
Intellectual property
OtoSee, its software, design, branding, and TCool LTD-provided content are owned by TCool LTD or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the app under these Terms and Apple’s applicable license; they do not transfer ownership.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
OtoSee is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. TCool LTD does not warrant that every device will connect, every frame will be received, every export will complete, or every observation will be medically or technically accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TCool LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, opportunity, or use arising from OtoSee, incompatible hardware, user-created content, or a decision based on an observation or report.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, consumer rights, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Termination
You may stop using OtoSee at any time. We may suspend access to a feature where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risk, fraud, platform requirements, or legal obligations. Subscription cancellation and refunds remain subject to Apple’s processes.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when OtoSee, its business model, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
