Scan Print Labels Privacy Policy

Scan Print Labels is an Android utility for creating and printing product, inventory, and logistics labels. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your product catalog, templates, imported CSV data, print queue, print history, printer preferences, and local backup files on your device. These business records are not uploaded by the app.

Images used as template logos remain referenced through Android file access. Removing an image or its permission can make that logo unavailable.

Subscription and account information

Google Sign-In is required when you subscribe to Pro or restore a purchase. The subscription service receives the Google account identifier and, where provided by Google, the account email or display name. It receives only the information needed to verify Google Play purchases, including a hash of the purchase token rather than the raw token.

The service may store subscription entitlement state, expiry and renewal state, and a device identifier and device name used to enforce the Pro device limit. It does not receive your product catalog, templates, CSV contents, label images, print history, or local backup files.

How information is used

We use account and subscription information to authenticate you, verify and restore Google Play purchases, enforce device limits, prevent purchase-token misuse, and provide subscription support. We do not use your business records for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Third-party services

• Google Sign-In authenticates your account when subscription or restore is requested.
• Google Play Billing processes subscriptions and determines localized prices, taxes, trial eligibility, renewals, and cancellations.
• Scan Print Labels IAP service verifies Google Play entitlement and stores limited account, subscription, and device metadata.

These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Permissions and printer communication

The app uses Android Bluetooth, USB, and document/file access only when you choose to connect a printer, scan or import data, select a logo, or create a backup. Label content is sent to the selected printer for printing and is not sent to our servers.

Retention and deletion

You can delete local products, templates, queues, history, and backups in the app or by clearing its Android app data. Backups are controlled by you and should be deleted separately.

Limited subscription, entitlement, and device metadata is retained while needed to provide Pro access, prevent fraud, resolve support requests, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may request deletion of account metadata by contacting us; information that must be retained by law may not be deleted immediately.

Account deletion requests

To request deletion of your Scan Print Labels account and associated subscription-service data, email blackpill@msn.com with the subject Scan Print Labels account deletion request. Include the Google account email used in the app so we can identify the account. We will delete the account identifier, email or display name, entitlement records, and registered-device metadata, except for information that must be retained for fraud prevention, legal, or accounting reasons. Products, templates, print history, and backups stored only on your device are not deleted by an email request; clear them in the app or Android settings.

Security

Subscription session data is encrypted on the device. The subscription service uses authenticated requests, app isolation, and hashed purchase tokens. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

Children’s privacy

The app is intended for small-business and personal productivity use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or subscription service changes. The published policy will show the effective date of the latest version.
