Bluetooth Numpads Privacy Policy

Bluetooth Numpads is an iOS app provided by TCool LTD. It turns an iPhone or iPad into a Bluetooth numeric keypad for a compatible Mac or Windows computer. This Privacy Policy explains what the app handles and what it does not collect.

Summary

Bluetooth Numpads is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or a TCool-operated network service. The app does not keep a history of the keys you press and does not upload your keyboard input to TCool LTD.

Bluetooth access and keyboard input

Bluetooth Numpads uses Apple’s CoreBluetooth framework to advertise a standard Bluetooth HID keyboard service and communicate with the computer that you pair with through the system Bluetooth settings. iOS may ask you to allow Bluetooth access. If you deny or disable that access, the app cannot provide keyboard input.

When the app is ready and you tap a key, it sends the corresponding standard keyboard usage to the connected computer. The app does not convert your input into a text history, store the values you enter, or send them to a TCool-operated server. Input depends on the computer’s operating system, keyboard layout, input method, application, and Bluetooth connection.

The app may expose the device’s current battery level to the connected computer through the standard Bluetooth HID battery service. This value is used for the Bluetooth keyboard connection and is not uploaded to TCool LTD.

Information stored locally

Bluetooth Numpads may store a small number of app preferences on your device, such as:

• whether you selected Mac or Windows mode;
• whether haptic feedback is enabled; and
• other settings needed to restore the app’s local interface behavior.

Temporary Bluetooth connection state, host subscription state, and connection diagnostics may be held in memory while the app is running. The app does not store a key-press history, clipboard contents, account profile, or a list of websites or documents you use with the computer.

Accounts, advertising, and analytics

Bluetooth Numpads does not require an account, display advertising, use third-party behavioral analytics, or sell personal information. The initial release does not include subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Information you send to us

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device or system details, and the description of your request. We use that information to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain reasonable support records. We do not use support messages for advertising.

Website access

When you open this policy or the Bluetooth Numpads Terms of Service, your browser loads a page from tcool.ltd. The website host and resources used to present the page may process standard technical request information, such as IP address, browser user agent, requested resource, referring page, and request time, under their own policies. Bluetooth Numpads does not use visits to these legal pages for behavioral advertising.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences and temporary app data remain on your device until you change them, clear the app’s data where supported, or uninstall the app. The computer may retain its own Bluetooth pairing record and input settings; those records are controlled by the operating system and must be removed from the computer separately.

If you contact us by email, you may ask us to delete personal information contained in your support correspondence. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance.

Children’s privacy

Bluetooth Numpads is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a company-operated service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Bluetooth Numpads, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
