Help with compatible Wi-Fi otoscopes, inspections, exports, and Inspection Pro.

OtoSee Support

OtoSee connects to compatible Wi-Fi otoscope and inspection cameras, captures photos and videos, and keeps inspection records on your iPhone or iPad.

Connect a compatible camera

  1. Turn on the camera and wait for its Wi-Fi network to appear.
  2. Open iOS Settings → Wi-Fi and join the camera network.
  3. Return to OtoSee and allow Local Network access when prompted.
  4. Tap Connect Otoscope.

A camera network may show “No Internet Connection.” This is normal. If OtoSee cannot connect, turn off VPN, close the camera manufacturer’s app, reconnect to the camera Wi-Fi, and try again.

Photos, videos, and inspections

Captured media and inspection records are stored locally by default. You can save selected media to Photos or share exported files through the iOS share sheet. Keep enough free device storage and make separate backups of important files.

OtoSee is an observation and recordkeeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

Inspection Pro purchases

Inspection Pro subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple.

  • Use Restore Purchase in OtoSee if an eligible subscription is not recognized.
  • Confirm that the device can reach Apple services; camera Wi-Fi may not provide internet access.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
  • Deleting OtoSee does not cancel a subscription.

If a purchase remains unavailable, switch temporarily from camera Wi-Fi to a network with internet access, reopen OtoSee, and try again.

Permissions

  • Local Network: required to communicate with a compatible camera.
  • Microphone: required only when recording optional voice notes.
  • Photos — Add Only: required only when you choose to save media to Photos.

Permissions can be changed in iOS Settings. Denying an optional permission does not upload or delete your local inspection content.
